After hosting a wedding, lots of brides and grooms dont have the cash (or the energy!) to take a big, fancy honeymoon. I get that!

Tell your friends and family youll be off the grid for a week or so, then experience your city like a tourist! Visit your favorite restaurants, check out the museum exhibits you missed because you were wedding planning, and catch up on all the movies youve been dying to see. GO CAMPING
If youre up for roughing it, spend a few nights in a tent. You can cook over a campfire, cuddle under the stars, and maybe swim (skinnydip?!) in a lake under the moonlight.

If one of your friendsor one of your parents friendshas a vacation home, maybe you can arrange to spend a few nights there. You could also ask around and see if anyone you know will be vacationing (and leaving behind an empty home) around the time of your wedding.
