Has Facebook Changed How Often You Wear the Same Dress to Weddings?

Before Facebook, I imagine I wouldnt have any qualms about wearing the same dress to a family wedding, to one of Pauls friends weddings, to one of my college friends weddings, and to one of my high school friends weddings all in the same year.

Id guess that a majority of my Facebook friends dont take notice of what I wear or how often I wear it. Last month, though, a friend posted a photo of herself looking amazing at a wedding. A bunch of her friends (including me) commented to say how great her dress was. The other day, there was a photo someone else had posted of her at a different wedding wearing the same dress. She still looked beautiful, and I certainly dont judge a girl for getting the most bang for her wedding guest dress buck, but I wasnt about to comment again. Someone else did. She wrote, Glad you got another wear out of that dress!

My friend replied, LOL, me too, which was the perfect response. Had I been the repeat dress-wearer, I think I wouldve felt silly about being called out for wearing the same dress twice. Again, I understand that its a stupid way to feel.

But am I alone in varying the dresses I wear to weddings because of the Facebook effect? Have you ever noticed photos of a friend wearing the same dress to two different weddings? What did you think when you saw it?
