The following suggestion is based on my personal opinion and experience within the wedding industry.
With Memorial Day quickly approaching many couples have chosen this Holiday Weekend for their nuptials, which has brought up the question of Holiday Weekend Weddings, and proper etiquette, if there is any.

Many of your guests do plan weekend getaways and vacations around a long holiday weekend, throughout the spring, summer, fall and even winter. However, there will be many more Memorial Day weekends and long vacation opportunities, yet there will only be one wedding for you!
My personal advice to any couple is that if you begin to try to make everyone happy, you will forget the most important people of the day, and that is you. You should do what you feel is best for you. Your family and friends will be fine with your choice and even those who may have some complaints will be happy for the extra days to enjoy a great wedding recovery before getting back to work.

Our studio has weddings on just about every long weekend throughout the year, including this Memorial Day and they are usually great!
I hope that helps with your decision making and if you have any specific questions about long weekend weddings, please do not hesitate to let me know.
