Wedding Days are, in most cases, tie appropriate occasions … and so they should be. A Wedding is a special day in the couple’s life, but it is also an important day for family and friends as well. Wedding attire should be special. For men, this means a collared shirt, dress pants and even a tie! But formal wedding attire doesn’t mean that your wedding clothes have to be boring or stuffy.
By adding some color to your formal necktie or bow tie, it can put some fun and life into your wedding attire while keeping it formal as well. Pick colors that can blend into the color scheme. If your wedding colors are pink, try a necktie with hot pink and light pink strips. If your wedding day colors are blue, try a tie with a blue pattern. You could also opt for a bow tie – which always adds an extra dash of fun!
When picking out a fun necktie or bow tie fabric pattern, think about matching the tie to the bride’s wedding dress for a ‘his and hers’ unique look.
You could pull your tie choice into other wedding details … Wedding invitations and décor with silhouette artwork including bow ties would be cute. This is an updated, modern take on classic portraiture.
If you are planning on having a photo booth, think about having some props … maybe even a bow tie prop for a fun twist!

Using a necktie for the wedding décor is such unique idea. Hanging neckties on a string between tree’s, on the patio or near the dance floor is an adorable way to tie the knot!
