Taylor Swift is the big winner at the American Music Awards

At this year’s AMAs, Taylor Swift tied Adele with three wins — but the country popstar ultimately beat out her British competitor — along with Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Lil Wayne — to claim the coveted Artist of the Year trophy. It was a pretty exciting night for Ms. Swift (pictured left, in one of her looks for the evening.)

Wedding favors are a small way to thank your guests for taking the time (and money) to celebrate your special day. But more than that, favors can be a creative and fun way to make your wedding unforgettable in the minds of your guests long after the Just Married car drives off.

Unfortunately, wedding favors can get expensive. Our guest list was nearly 200 people, says Charis Fischer, so even spending ten dollars on each favor can get expensive fast.

Zoya’s New Spring 2012 Nail Polish Shades

To say Im a nail polish addict would be an understatement (seriouslylook here and Im torn between being proud/ashamed of the fact that I actually have more than these images show!). Needless to say, few beauty product launches get me as amped as new polish shades. The latest ones my nails have gotten a hold of are Zoyas trio of Fleck Effect Nail Polishes ($24 for all three), and their Spring 2012 solid color collection ($48 for all six). Where to start!? I literally have been changing my nail color nearly every other day because the new collection covers so much ground.

She’d like to lose the shine in the T-zone

Q. My favorite “oil stopper” for the T-zone facial area has been discontinued by Lancome, and the company has nothing to replace it. The product is Pure Focus T-zone Powder Gel. I have tried several other products including Mary Kay, Cargo and a few drugstore brands, and none is as good as this product. Can you offer any help for locating either the original or an acceptable substitute?

Have you tried Lancome’s Tonique Pure Focus (oil-free) Pore Tightening Toner with Matifying Powders ($25)? It’s an oil-free toner that absorbs oil and unclogs pores. Use it before applying your makeup.

I haven’t tried this product, but one I have and really like is from NARS.
