When designing an event, nothing is more important to me than the lighting. Light has the ability to create a mood like nothing else — take the warm glow of candlelight, for example. But what if you were to use neon lighting instead? I have been in love with neon lights since I was a child. Since I was growing up in a woody environment, the sharp contrast of these brilliant brights left me in awe.
I met with Robbie Ingui of Artistic Neon to learn more about it. He explained the fascinating process of glass bending, a craft passed down to him from his father, and all of the different fonts and styles he is able to achieve. Wouldn’t a neon sign with your monogram, placed over the bar of your wedding venue, be an amazing detail? These works of art are so reasonably priced, too! Check out more of Robbie’s work here.
