Have you heard of Isla Mujeres? Its a minuscule island thats just a boat ride away from Cancún, but worlds apart in terms of luxury and adventure. There are no cars allowed on the island, and brilliant blue water is visible from nearly every square inch. My husband and I visited Isla Mujeres a few years ago, way before we were married. It would have been a perfect spot to tie the knot, had I packed a long white dress.
Amy, on the other hand, had the perfect white dress handy when she and Ryan tied the knot this past February at the Isla Mujeres Palace Resort. Only eleven other friends and family members, including the brides sister Katie who photographed the wedding, joined the couple. Ten days later, they headed back home for a reception.
