Rachel and Aaron were married last month at the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, North Dakota. Both the bride and groom knew exactly what they wanted when it came to their wedding day attire, and who would photograph their wedding! Im excited to welcome Katie Lewis back to Perfect Bound today and so excited to share Rachel and Aarons wedding.

Rachel was in love with the idea of a one-shoulder wedding gown, while her groom favored a sharp suit instead of a traditional tux.
Writes Rachel, I wanted to have a wedding party unlike anyone else by adding different colors and completely different dresses. Even though these girls all had similar body types, I wanted to show off their personality. My older sister was 29 weeks pregnant at the time of the wedding. I found a great dress that allowed her to grow a bit if she needed. It even had pockets. The necklace she wore was also by Jim Helm.
My younger sister, Danielle is a trendsetter. She loves stepping out of the box and creating interesting outfits. I thought this two-piece dress was perfect for her. It had a flare collar vest which she wore so well. Kristins fuchsia dress added the color and pop I wanted for the girls. Since Kristin had such a bold color, I wanted to add Kathryns black dress to tone it down a little. I loved Kathryns high collar and back open slit. This black dress was the first dress I found and the inspiration for what the girls were going to wear.
I was trying to go for a look that you would find in Vogue or in a movie. I wanted people to come away from our wedding thinking it was unlike any wedding they had ever seen. I like being different and setting trends.

A friend of the brides designed the bridal partys bouquets creating three distinct arrangements around the girls three different gowns. Rachels bouquet was done up in midnight calla lilies to mimic the ruffles on her Pronovias gown, and compliment the purple sash around her waist. The brooch detail was something that Rachel added to the gown herself. Her headpiece was also handmade.
