I have a confession to make: Ive resisted doing a dream palette for the last two years, thats inspired by the Old South for fear of conjuring up personal views and themes that typically are associated with it. After recently hearing a very thoughtful 75th anniversary tribute interview on NPR about the impact of the movie: Gone With The Wind, and how residents of Tara, now embrace the city as a source of tourist-generated revenue rather than a controversial secret; I too decided to take on my conceived notions and channel them towards something creative.

Today, Ive decided to be empowered rather than scared by that very dynamic, controversial yet impactful word: Planation, and dream up a palette that hopefully embodies the majesty, and picture-like romance that it exudes. My take on good ol southern hospitalitywith a fresh glass of cool mint julip!
