As the leaves begin to change, it’s nice to see fall colors filling the dressing rooms. Soon the sidewalks will be washed in browns, oranges, red and yellow, eventually giving way to winter blues, grays and snowy whites.
Some colors transcend all seasons, in my opinion. Such is the case with this Crystal and Mike’s wedding. The fashionable couple married at Carmel Mission in Carmel, California (a city that just sounds seasonal!) and then celebrated their nuptials at the La Playa Hotel. Their color palette was a mix of ivory, coral, blue and purple, while the creamy landscape provided a dreamy hue all its own.
Jen Rodriguez, a Santa Barbara-based wedding photographer, was kind enough to send over these photos. I couldn’t be happier to wish Crystal and Mike a blissful marriage and welcome Jen Rodriguez to Perfect Bound.
The bridal party kept it simple yet stylish with striking cocktail dresses and complimentary ties. I’m not sure if it was intentional, but how cool is it that Crystal’s bridesmaid matched her frames to her dress!
Crystal’s gown is not only beautiful, it’s a telltale sign of just how influential Ivanka Trump’s wedding gown will be in the upcoming seasons. Like Ivanka, Crystal opted to forgo a strapless style in favor of a scalloped neckline and thicker shoulder straps. The look is modest yet refreshing and completely becoming. And just look at how easily she made her groom blush…!
