Still no word on the royal honeymoon just yet, but today St. James Palace announced that Wills and Kate are planning a stateside trip. The two will head first to Canada from June 30 to July 8, and then take a brief tour of California from July 8 to 10, reports DailyMail.co.uk. Itll be the duchess first visit to the United States, but shell be more than welcome here: Even President Obama, in a recent meeting in the Oval Office, told Prince Charles that he was impressed with the young couples coolness under pressure. A more detailed itinerary for the couples trip to the states will be publicized soon.Cant make it to California to spot the happy couple? Luckily, (yet another) way to take a piece of the royal couple home with you is available for purchase: Franklin Mint just debuted the Kate Middleton royal wedding doll, reports People.com, and itll cost you a pretty $295. A mini replica of “the” dress, veil, tiara and bouquet are included. Weve seen a few other Kate dolls we havent been crazy about, but if we had to pick one to take home, this would be it.Photos via DailyMail.co.uk and People.com.
